Last night, Mayor Mick Cornett presented a Mayoral Citation to Elliott + Associates and Café 501. The citation states that our firm’s powerful ideas have changed the face of Oklahoma City architecture, and Cafe 501 is a unique dining experience for residents and visitors to our city. It also states that Classen Curve continues to be a shining symbol of progress and originality for OKC. The reception was held at Café 501 to celebrate these prestigious awards:

Accepting the citation from Mayor Cornett, Rand Elliott thanked Aubrey McClendon for his vision and development of Classen Curve. Rand also thanked Pete and Sheree Holloway for their concept of Café 501 that captures the spirit of the food in an atmosphere that is warm and comfortable, fresh, modern and extremely well crafted. “We are very proud to represent Oklahoma City. Café 501 makes us proud of our local talent,” commented Elliott. “It is one more example of how our city is maturing to create our own brand of hospitality.” Rand praised his great development team: Project Architect David Ketch, Lingo Construction for Café 501and Smith and Pickle Construction for the Classen Curve shell.
