HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Thank you for all the calls, emails and texts asking how you can help the the ongoing efforts of the May 20th tornado, and lets not forget those affected by the May 19th tornadoes that hit Edmond and Shawnee. It has been a terrible couple of days for Central Oklahoma.

Right now in Moore, the search and recovery efforts are still taking place. The best thing we can do is let the emergency personnel do their jobs. PLEASE do not attempt to go to Moore.

AIA has reached out to FEMA and offered our assistance. Those who are CalEMA trained" will be called upon just as soon as we get the word from FEMA and Governor Fallin. We don"t expect this to happen this week as there are a lot of other efforts that need to happen before they are ready for building damage assessments.  Please watch your email for more information.

There is something you can do now.

You can donate to the Red Cross by texting RED CROSS to 90999 to donate $10.

You can also donate the following needed items:

  • Bottled water
  • Gatorade
  • Individually wrapped snacks
  • Non perishable foods
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves
  • Trash bags
  • Diapers
  • Wipes
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Baby Formula
  • Rakes
  • Shovels
  • Flashlights

(Please no clothing or household items at this time)
