The design philosophy of Elliott + Associates is shaped from the theory that a space reflects the unique personality of the owner, coupled with functionality. We create special environments - architectural portraits - revealed as expressions of the client.

Our process begins with "brainstorming" sessions and includes the development of a functional needs assessment with thought given to operational objectives and project economics. Our success has come from our ability to create a specific and appropriate solution for each project. We do not do cookie-cutter design. Each project, like each client, is unique.

The organizational structure of Elliott + Associates contributes to the continuing success of our firm. Rand Elliott, FAIA, is the Lead Designer and is responsible for every aspect of the design process. A principal is assigned to each project, with a Project Architect to design and execute the project from beginning to end. Elliott + Associates also has key staff members with considerable experience in sustainable design and in implementing the LEED standard to respect the environment when designing a building. The Lead Designer, Rand Elliott, FAIA, has a reputation of designing projects that not only "fit" their respective sites but seem to literally "grow" from the site.
