The Impact of Xiangxin Liu’s Research

Xiangxin Liu has returned to UConn as a postdoctoral research associate in real estate after earning his Ph.D. in finance from the university in 2024. Liu’s current projects actively examine accessory dwelling units and the tangible impact of solar panels on residential property value.

Having previously served as a research fellow with the Eversource Energy Center, Liu specializes heavily in real estate economics. His unique background allows him to bridge the gap between corporate finance and spatial environmental economics effectively.
