Topping the weekly transactions list was a newly built, 6,300-square-foot townhouse located on West Grant Place in Chicago, which commanded an impressive $4.1 million. Elmhurst secured the second spot shortly behind with the $3.6 million sale of an expansive single-family home on South Kenilworth Avenue.

Suburban Luxury and Notable City Deals

Suburban markets continued to demonstrate strong drawing power for luxury buyers seeking high-end amenities. Hinsdale made the upper tier of the weekly rankings via a newly constructed single-family residence on Allmen Avenue that fetched $3.1 million.

Chicago also claimed another high-end spot when a spacious condominium on North Lakeview Avenue traded for $2.95 million. Burr Ridge contributed significantly to the luxury sector as a single-family property on Clubside Court successfully changed hands for $2.4 million.

Closing Out the Top Ten High-End Sales

Glencoe featured prominently in the weekly data with a well-sized home on Jackson Avenue bringing in $2.21 million. Additional notable Chicago deals included properties on North Marshfield Avenue and North Oakley Avenue, selling for $2.15 million and $2.13 million respectively.

Finally, rounding out the top ten were a chic condominium on North Aberdeen Street in Chicago and a newly built residence on 83rd Street in Burr Ridge. Both of these final properties commanded figures comfortably above the $2.1 million threshold to close out an active week.
